Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What should I wear?
Our regular attendees wear clothing of various degrees of formality, from jeans to suits.
What should I expect in the service?
The service usually begins with several songs, and we sing from Hymns of Grace, Masters Seminary Press. Sermon last about 35-45 minutes.
What about my children?
We love to have children (of any age) in the service. How else can they learn to adapt, grow and get accustomed to hearing God's word preached if we don't allow them to be a part of the service? For parents of newborns and babies we offer a changing room to feed, change or calm little ones if needed. We also have a full nursery upstairs but it is not always staffed. There are speakers in both rooms to allow mothers to hear the services.
We do not have a separate children's Sunday school because we expect the parent to do this on a daily basis. Therefore, to make disciples, we assist parents in the biblical training of their children all the way to adulthood.
What do we believe?
We are a Reformed Baptist body of believers and embrace a theology which shares much in common with the rich heritage of the Reformation. Our doctrinal position is formed around the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689.
